Olive O2M

Anyone use an Olive O2M http://www.olive.us/products/multi-room-player/olive_o2m/overview.html At $599 it is getting into the realm of possible purchases.  It seems there is almost no info on it. Thoughts?  I own an Olive Musica and have liked it although I don't like how Olive seems to have dropped support of it.  I also think some of their prices are way too high but in this unit they seem to be coming back to earth.

Thanks,
Robert

Well, Olive's other units provide storage and ripping and this is a streamer only.  In that context, I'm not sure what advantages the O2M might have over a Squeezebox Touch at half the price.  Both have 24/96 capability and a 4.3" color touchscreen.  The Olive looks to have an aluminum metal enclosure (although the continuous music genre text "pattern" screened on the panel makes that look a little funky under close inspection).

I think it would have to have a substantially better internal DAC and/or digital output to be worth twice the cost, unless there are some other interesting features that I'm not aware of yet.

The older Olive models where simply rebadged Hifidelios.
The company producing the Hifidelio (Hermstedt) went bankrupt.
This forces Olive to develop their own product.
In the process they dropped all support fot the older models.

Probably your Musica can still be updated using the Hifidelio software
