Last pair for the summer, done until next year.  I have the final pair of Super V cabinets for sale in solid baltic birch 3/4 and 1.5 inch, $1500 dollars includes black gloss bases, black grills, concealed crossover compartment, amp rack for back and shipping in the lower 48 with fedex only.  Time to go back to work, no time for hobbies-maybe when Danny's new stuff comes out.

JP, you make it very hard to resist taking a dremel to the back of my coaxials.

That finish is awesome - reminds me of the dark grey set Danny had made up way back - the grain in the center fading to dark on the edges is a very cool effect.

I Can't believe these are still available?

A couple of weekend afternoons pulling wire, mounting drivers and cutting no rez and you're ready to crank em up. For a little over 4k invested you have a speaker that will compete with the industrys state of the art and run on 10 watts of input power.

Using the new "Merlot" Super V's Jon built for me, I am by far the most satisfied I have ever been with my system (and I have owned a crazy number of extreemly high end loudspeakers). I make it a point now to listen EVERY SINGLE DAY even if it's only for 2 or 3 songs. I haven't been that excited about my rig in years.

If you fear the (advanced level) build, pay one of the nice hobbie / builders here on the circle to complete the package for you and you are still thousands ahead of the curve.

Thanks nick, I figured the same but who knows.  Shipping is 200 dollars, so really, speakers and grills for 1300 is not bad.

This is a true bargain. 

I'm gonna diy the Super V in the upcoming weeks, wish i had the coin to buy this set & forego the hassles.   Someone is getting a good deal.

I think it's just timing. I'm sure there are dozens of people on here (myself included) who wish everything was lined up so they could buy these. I'm exploring a different speaker path at the moment. It might take a minute but somebody just has to jump on this incredible value.

And as I said, those will always look great, the way you've done them. You hit on something there Jon.

Yes I am aware...my three car garage is getting ready for winter with the delivery on 6 tons of pellets for the house stove, and my own personal full range tb project, they will just have to go in storage.  No biggie, just up a flight of stairs, ....I should just keep em.
