Hi Folks,
..... Or should nuts and bolts be used? I would prefer to use nuts and bolts but the main issue is access in case I need to remove the driver in the future without destroying the cabinet as the amp will be external to the cabinet which means nuts can't be tightened from behind so it's either woodscrews from the front or bolts first installed permanently from inside then place the driver on them and nuts on the outside. Cabinet material is mdf and I've tested hurricane nuts but they started spinning under pressure and if that happens in the sub then I couldn't get access to fix it. Is there a tried and true way? Woodscrews are easiest but into mdf, would they last, especially if you remove the driver a few times and have to keep tightening and unscrewing?
