 The ultimate in lowbrow camp meets terribly psychological and subliminal fears from childhood.

 Monster, other dimensional clowns with hyper advanced clown technology come down from space in a giant hi tech big top tent and eat people by converting them into bloody cotton candy cocoons.

My girlfriend loves this movie! She's into horror movies and crazy cult movies like this. Of course she must be as weird as I am. 

The movie is outrageous and hilarious.

I told a bunch of people to watch this movie and the reaction was all the same "...was awesome!"

I hope they BLURAY it. And I agree with the above, Evil Dead series. Actually, Army of Darkness might be one of the funniest group movies ever.

 ... Then he started making Spider Man. Is it true you only make good stuff when you are young? From Sam Raimi to Stephen King.

 If you're an artist, don't get married and don't have kids!

totally! But you should really just get netflix. It's not expensive.

this movie is definitely at or near the top of all-time B flicks. It's a wonder it rarely comes up on TV listings.

Forgot all about this movie... saw it years ago and loved the bizarre combination of horror, kitsch, cotton candy and alien clowns. Couldn't pull myself away even though it was a late night showing and I was dead tired.  Just added it to my Netflix cue to watch again and see if I can get my wife to sit through it.

A guilty pleasure with the Evil Deads, From Beyond, Reanimator

Shout out for fellow Detroiter Sam Raimi... the Evil Dead series are great, especially Army of Darkness which someone else pointed out. Also check out Crimewave.

From Beyond and Reanimator got me into reading HP Lovecraft recently. His stories seem to be tailored for these kinds of movies.

Here's another... Night of the Creeps... "Girls, the good news is your dates are here. The bad news is they're dead."

And the Evil Dead series is amazing, with Army of Darkness being one of the finest comedies I've ever seen.
