BDP-1/BDA-1 combo arriving on Friday

17 minutes of that was unpacking the units, moving the Modwright Transporter, and connecting everything up.

The BDP-1 booted up and added music from the thumb drive in just a few mins.

I have a pics of the excellent packing job and will try to post them in a bit - I still have to download them from my camera.

To be honest, things won't look any different than the pics from a few weekends ago (see below). I went with silver and the 19" faceplates.

I have been using either a DH Labs D-110 AES/EBU or Stereovox HDXV 75 ohm bnc-bnc courtesy of Ted_b (great guy). I also have on order a Morrow Audio Dig4 XLR digital cable. I am also contemplating getting in a WyWires XLR digital cable. In terms of power cords, I am currently using a custom Kaplan Cable filter cord for both units. Still thinking about next steps on the pc front.

The combo has been running non-stop since yesterday afternoon and will continue to do so as I try to get hours on them.

Because I like how it looks.

I think it ties in nicely with the Black/Silver of the Furman.

Its looks really nice in silver. Just remember not to burn it in too much. The price was only for 200 songs and then Bryston expects it back.....

One nice thing is that your buttons should look the same on both units. My DAC has the old style buttons.
