You invent the combination trenchcoat/parachute, decide it has to work according to your math, and thereby testing it yourself by jumping off the Eifel Tower with it rather than using a mannequin.
I'd provide s YouTube link, but I don't think anyone's been as stupid since that guy was in the 1800's or so. Then again, common sense isn't very common.

I had a bad day when the phone company changes my phone number,
arbitrarily for their own will, and not let me know.

This week It happen again, the second time they do this to me, to return
the old number takes 5 working days.

This reminds me when an excavator was doing some work down the road from us. They never contacted anyone to see what was underground before they started to dig. What happened was they severed the main telephone trunk in our area. The telephone was down for 3-4 days and in our circumstance, they crossed our phone line with someone else's line and it required a few more days before everything was back to normal.

Bad day long time ago,actually one of the worst days,but I am laughing right now while I am typing.
I came home about 1am.

And like to listen to music but I do not want to wake others up.Yeh right

First I went to kitchen and grabbed a cup of Orange juice then went to my room and do not want to turn the light on.So it was dark and I was very sure that what I was doing.sat down and plug in my Sony headphones one of the nice ones that you wont hear the outside noise.Now I turn the volume up but I do not hear anything.

. then turned it up more,I still cannot hear the music.

.I turned up more and I saw the lights went on and the whole family looking at me like this.

I took my headphones off and feel like I am in live concert.I pluged in microphone jack instead of headphone.

Conclusions
The Sansui 9090 and Pioneer HP 150 survived.
