In my eyes this show stands out (negatively), among so many others American sitcoms that go late night, because the characters behave promiscuously and often offend each other, totally out of the Christians standards .

But the rest is very good, scenarios, actors, sound and image are all great, as usual in Hollywood, just the script is vulgar.

Fullrangeman, can you suggest any good, christian programming?

Sorry, I do not know what TV show in your country, I hope there is many Christian programming in a plethora of hundred plus TV channels, other than real Christian programming as Gospel preachers or the Mormon Channel, aside of news and sports.

But in the same line of 2,5 Men, I remember the ''Everwood'' series, not a Christian movie, just more decent and without the uncontrollable fornicator character, unfortunately Everwood is gone, in my area, it was not low enough to corrupt people.

I don't think that anyone watches Two and a Half Men for moral compass. TV shows and movies of this ilk are supposed to be an exaggeration of life, and not in anyway indicative of how one should live their own personal life.

The show was funny, and there was little reason for this to happen. The show is not going to survive very long as is. Ashton Kutcher hasn't been funny since that 70's show, and even then that show was so successful because of the sum of the whole.

I think the real life back story is the most interesting here.  The producers and other powers that be on 2 1/2 Men have such a pronounced bad taste for Sheen that they need to kill him off to prevent any possibility that he can ever return to the show (such as when the aforementioned Ashton Kutcher bombs as Kingd and I both agree he will).  That is some serious Hollywood bad blood there.

As far as the OP's comments, the show had nothing to do with religion, as is suppose to be the case on this forum (just sayin').  I can respect the viewpoint of FRM that he thinks the show is vulgar and doesn't wish to watch it.  I'm not sure why he then does watch it to be once again offended.  I beg to differ in that I thought it was a hilarious one joke show that exploited that joke in every way possible to great effect the first few seasons.  Then I grew tired of that joke and stopped watching, the show has just about run its course anyway.

my mom loves that show - she was totally on charlie's side; the audience for that  show may skew a little older and a little more christian than people think!
