Thinking of hooking up my vintage Thiel's CS 2.0's to my HT. Would match them to Thiel's CS 1.2 and a Thiel center channel keeping the currect sub, a HSU. Any experience, opinions on Thiel's as HT speakers? Thanks and hit them straight!!

If you like them for music and you had ample power behind them I don't know of any reason not to use them.

Ran CS 3's with their center channel speaker and powerpoints as surrounds, powered by Classe for many years and was quite happy with the sound. Great with music and most movies. I got into the "I want something new/upgrade bug" mode a while back and convinced myself I wanted bigger/louder for HT. The Thiels aren't super efficient. I like what I've got now, but still think about switching back from time to time.

There are just so many things Thiels do right and they were the first speakers I truly fell in love with.
