Monster Cable's 1000i

Does anyone have an opinion of these cables?  I am considering buying them.  How do they compare with some of the cables that are discussed here?

I have the 800i and they're for sale if you want them. Is that enough info?

Seriously, they're probably not a bad cable but others will probably tell you there are better cables to be had for the money.

Good luck and welcome to Audiocircle.

I've got a pair of the Monster 1000's (audio IC's)...they are decent.  I paid about $75 second hand for them, so no real complaints.  Well made they are, but my opinion is that there is better sounding for the money.

They reside in my (modest) video system.

Hi "ribit"!

I use the M1000i for some years now. Compared many other cables (Van den Hull The Second, Van den Hull Thunderline, Audioquest Quartz, JPS Labs Ultraconductor, Harmonic Tech Precision Link, Kimber PBJ...) to them. Always liked the Monsters better. I think nothing in their price range(especially when buying second hand!) outperforms them. I'm still looking for better cables for the money - but with no success.
Be sure to have a higher quality front end. With some lower price/quality cd players you can do/match better somewhere else.
I must recommend them highly!
You'll hear from many people that they don't like Monster's but I don't know why... I like them a lot!

Hope this helps!
Best regards,
David D.
