I recently acquired a pair of full range speakers to replace my monitors so no longer need the low end assistance the B1 provided. This sub is best described as graceful, powerful, & musical with the ability to extend down to the lowest possible frequencies without breaking a sweat (13Hz!!!!).
Listening to orchestral music you not only hear it but you really "feel" the lower octaves. Many subs are capable of hitting the lowest notes but very few do it as cleanly or as musically as the REL.
I've been using it with the High Pass Speakon connection directly to my Bel Canto amps to cover the lower end sweep that my previous SF Cremona Auditors couldn't quite get down to. The REL with it's unique fine & coarse roll off adjustments were able to blend perfectly with the Auditors while able to disappear into the room when performing. Once I had it dialed in I was never able to separate or localize the sound as coming from either piece...this speaks highly of both the REL, SF, and the synergy the two have together.
One last killer feature I'd like to point out is the ability to run this sub as both .1/LFE for Home Theater
AND High-Level Support of your 2 channel system with separate adjustments...No other sub provides this feature and is what makes REL the best choice for a mixed HT/2 Channel system. I only used the High-Level support but I have read many posts/blogs/reviews etc where the primary use was in a mixed system.

This REL B1 is in the Black Brittex finish and is in excellent condition. As the unit weighs over 100lbs packed local pickup is preferred (Southern California) but will work with any interested buyers on a shipping option if that's the only option.
Even with the new floorstanders I don't quite feel that the lowest octaves are as right as when I had the REL in the system but space concerns (and budget) dictate reason over lust. This sub was truly enjoyable and will be missed.
