One of the last run of these, with the 'mark' 3 S&B transformers and full remote control of volume and source select. Very transparent sound and highly regarded - a definite contender for the best pre at any price in its day. This one has 4 SE and 2 XLR inputs, and 2 SE plus XLR outputs. (SE and XLR outs must NOT be used at the same time!). It doesn't have the +6db gain switch that was an option. Volume control is in the middle of the front panel with source select LEDs to the left. It has an optional black acrylic top plate that fits over the usual stainless steel case.
