The basic DAC and transformer were purchased on ebay from raindrop_hui. Check this thread around page 7 http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=78737.0
I upgraded many capacitors, the AD1865 chip, input and output resistors on the output stage are TX2575 (4 pieces). Main power caps are Nichicon Gold Tune 10,000uf bypassed by .47uf Solens. Output caps are 4.7uf Auricaps. Lampizator mod, silver wire for SPDIF, just about a complete do over. RCAs are gold over copper. I did try running direct off the DAC chip, but because the output in this configuration is very low, it was not enough for my system with a passive B1 buffer.

16"W 12"D 4"H I had the chassis for another project that never happened. It's a little big but made it easy to work on.

excellent dac here....if you don't like the solid state output stage you can always use the outputs on the board, for this price it is a no brainer!  I did the same mods and wouldn't sell mine....ever!
