That was Uncle Billy Sherman. You might be confusing him with Bobby Lee.

I can remember President Eisenhower.. As president.
I remember taking part in "Duck and cover" drills.
I remember when candy bars were a nickel.
I can remember when color television started... and only a few shows were in color.
I watched the original Mickey Mouse Club.. (not reruns)
I can remember buying gasoline where the gasoline in question was $0.08 a gallon. A HIGH price back then was $0.12 a gallon...
Entering college I had to buy a 'required' slide rule... Computers were only esoteric things scientists fiddled with..
I don't need Bobby Sherman to know I am old.

My first hi-end integrated amp was a Heathkit I built in my teens.

10 years earlier summer vacations out West were in my Dad's Hudson Wasp. 100 degrees, no A/C, and my brother and I tormenting each other in the back seat, it didn't get any better than that; though it did drive my parents crazy. The Hudson was so big that my Dad could never reach us while driving, though it never stopped him from trying. I loved the big concrete dinosaurs in Rapid City, South Dakota.

When we finally did get a TV my brother and I watched Winky Dink and You though I don't think my parent's ever bought the "magic drawing screen", we were too poor.
