A friend of mine on here put together a sweet TT for me to try out vinyl. Here are pics, and a big Thank you to Dean (AVnerdguy) for getting me started, its very cool, sounds great and looks brand new. I got like 10 LP's thanks to Paul (orthobiz) so I'm on my way......

I'm using a little box 2 in 2 out and an AC plug...this is the kind you find at Le Dollar Audio Store>>>I'm soon to buy another inexpensive but said to sound very good but I lost the link again, ask AVnerdguy he knows and has given me the link like 10 times and I keep loosing it.....OOPs LOL

Make sure you get some kind of cleaning system. I can absolutely recommend this one for someone just starting out.Enjoy your vinyl,I sure do. Spin Clean Record Cleaning System

This is what I used back in the day. It works and it's inexpensive. You guys have me looking at platters again. I think it will be just a matter of time before I take the plunge!

You guys are making me jealous. My TT's packed up in a box in the basement due to the layout of our current apartment and an 8 month old daughter. My last LP spun will be a year ago next month, and it hasn't been easy. Priorities I guess.

It's a CEC. They used to OEM for numerous companies (Pioneer, Realistic, Kenwood SME etc.) Inexpensive eBay find in the for parts or repair section.It's well built, tracks well, and a great starter for little $ (the labor was my donation to the Let's Keep Vinyl Alive Association). Now that he has the bug I'll rope him in with a nice Thorens or Linn or Micro Seiki.....

Ah shucks. Just doing the same thing you and many others do as well. Have received donations from many here on AC (thanks again Pumpkinman,Wayner and a cast of thousands!) and I like to help whenever/wherever I can. If we can get others back into vinyl or help someone along then mission accomplished.
