FR89EX measurement

FR89EX measurement

This is the 4 ohm version, 20 cm distance to mic, on axis. Small sealed box.

I was a bit surprised actually. The gate is 10 ms so there are a few reflections in there.

Im confused.  The diagram of the spl on the madisound site says its like 87 db, this graph shows it at over 100, am i reading this incorrect?  Nice graph, smooth... I am currently looking for  a single driver set up that I can get 94 db or higher...

That graph is suspisiously flat. Are you sure you are not clipping your mic pre?

Nice FR curve,very similar to manu. curve for a change. I believe yr measurements.

Well, it turns out, you are absolutely correct...! I am used to REW which gives a warning, Fuzz Measure doesn't... heh  :oops: ttan98, thanks for the vote of confidence but I messed up. jparkhur, these are not calibrated, not sure how to do that yet.

Here's another go, with 30 and 60 degrees also. This is at 20 cm, it's not supposed to be accurate just for a quick eq on the driver. 2 ms window. The bump at 2 kHz is the diffraction peak from the box (10 cm wide):
