Up for sale is my incredible Modwright SWL 9.0 Linestage Beta unit. I believe Dan made about 10 of these units prior to releasing the critically acclaimed 9.0SE Linestages. I've heard others comment that the beta units were perhaps 90% of the sound of the final released versions. This unit has a separate power supply, PS 9.0, which is similar in size and connected to the pre-amp unit with a 1M Revelation Audio Labs "Passage" Cryosilver Reference umbilical cable (MSRP $220).
This is an opportunity to hear that wonderful Modwright sound for a fraction of the typical cost. Its been in my system for about 3 years as many other pre-amps have been purchased and sold in an attempt to knock this unit out of my system. The reason for selling is I've simplified my system for the time-being (read: until the little ones get a bit older).
Its in great condition without any visible flaws/scratches/imperfections. The unit has 4 sets of RCA inputs and 2 sets of RCA outputs. The tube complement is two 5687 tubes. I'll include 2 sets, Raytheon and GE (green label), for your tube rolling pleasure.
