I'd like to add my thanks aswell, I can see this becoming a James appreciation thread and much deserved it is.

I've only been on here just over a year and I've lost count of all the questions James has answered for me, but then according to his profile he is 106 years old, so he should know is stuff :)

I've said many times that every HiFi company should have a James Tanner, but the truth is that they haven't and that is what helps make Bryston a very special company, and that's beside the awesome Hi Fi equipment they make.

OK, that's enough sucking up  :)

Thanks from an avid lurker and infrequent poster. The forum is a wealth of information regarding Bryston gear and service because of the time and effort Mr. Tanner puts into the forum.

I would also like to extend my thanks to James and all other employees at Bryston.  Bryston's reponse time to even obvious questions is exceptional.  Wishing them many more years of success.

Best,

John

Most definitely, a heart felt thank you James for your dedication and assistance to us all here on the Bryston AudioCircle site. A special thank you is also in order for all the talented individuals at Bryston whose dedication and most astute attention to detail on the creation of my Beasties, which brings me countless hours of sweet, depressive pleasure.

Seriously - in the short time I've been on this circle, I've learnt a wealth about Bryston.  Here's to another 8 years.  Live long and prosper.

Thanks for all the help, James.  You truly value your customers and accept criticism from the naysayers very graciously.  If only we all had your knowledge, patience, and class.

It seems like just yesterday I was a young budding Brystonite* trying to get some information on a B60.

*Now that I think of it, what is your preferred name for a Bryston owner?  Brystonite?  Brystonian?  Since it's your company and you're the 'head of the family,' it's only fitting that you choose what we should be called.  Doesn't have to be one of those two, I was just throwing those out there.

This could have the making of a most interesting thread.   :D

If there is a second person in audio industry that put even half the time of what James does, I would like to know that guy.
Wish the best for James and his company and the Bryston users for the right choice. :thumb:

He lives in Germany and is called Thomas Hoehne. He just does not do it online.
James is an example to the audioworld, I *SO* wish my boss was only 1% of the person James is...

I do understand your feeling and do not surprise that the second one is from Germany.
