Hi, hoping to get some info about the altec lansing 602d duplex speakers in a cabinet. I just received these from a party who was using them in a surround system. I am looking to understand how they should be used? and to see whether or not they can be integrated into my system or if I need to sell them. Are there other questions I need to ask? Thanks

There is a pair on eBay right now going for $1100. I have to ask if you have any cabinets with them and did you get the cross-overs as well?

They are in cabinets with Altec Lansing deviding network in each cabinet. The cabinets serve as end tables. I listened to them and they seem to work fine.
I am wondering how you integrate them into a two channel system?

What do you need to integrate? Hook them up to your amp and start playing.

I guess I am wondering what reproduces the highs? I really don't have any knowledge about old school stuff. I thought these speakers would be used for bass.

They have horns in the middle that handle the highs. They should sound very, very good. If not, I can give you $20 for each. You have to pay shipping.....

wayner, thanks for the info. I think you have it backwards, you pay the shipping and I pay the 20 each.  These things weigh a ton. My wife is about to shoot me over setting them up, but that is my job to keep her heart pumping. thanks again.
