I have not tried Ceraball but I heard pretty good feedback on it...http://hifi-unlimited.blogspot.com/2011/04/living-with-bryston-bdp-1bda-1-combo.html

I must also add SRA is very good and I am currently using this on my Pre/Power which made a huge difference.

There is no point in isolation or racking or cabling unless you know what you want or looking for in sound. Just to say there is less vibration means diddly squat if you can't get a handle on what the sonic improvements are vs no isolation.

I have my bdp/bda sitting on a pair of Symposium mono amp racks with spike kit option. I found that the bda sitting right on those platforms with their footings removed and the bdp on top upped the resolution big time. The downside it sunk my prat. It just lost a lot of toe tapping beats, better resolution but who cares its just didn't thrill like it use to.

The bdp with the footings removed with the bda on top gave me a good sense of power and maintained prat. It was good. It was better than no platform by far but the bdp and bda do very well on their own unattached to any aftermarket cones or footings.

Here is a pic of the bda (footings removed) with the bdp on top.

I get my add on feet from basically a junk store. American Science and surplus IS a big junk store.
I use actual surplus chemical butyl rubber bottle stoppers size 10. They are just plain ol' bottle stoppers.
About 7/8 inch thick. wide side is 1.5 inches diameter circle, smaller end is about 1.25 inches in diameter.
Radio Shack is also a 'junk' store, just a little higher class than American Science and Surplus.

Are the butyl rubber stoppers better than hockey pucks or squash balls in 2" PVC plumbing end caps??
