I've just replaced an 18 year old 4B NRB with a 14B SST2 Pro.  The amp's circuit breaker trips a few seconds after power up when 6 meter, Low impedance (5K - 50K ohm), balanced MIT Magnum MA is connected.  The amp powers up just fine with no interconnect at all or with 6 meter, no impedance restriction, balanced MIT MI 330.  The 4B powers up with the MA so I don't think there's a cable malfunction.

Is this issue simply the result of using the wrong cable or are there other possible causes?  From reviews, etc my understanding was the balanced input impedance was 20k ohms.  However, the manual specifies the balanced impedance as "58k ohms each leg" so a mismatch seemed a logical first suspect.
