I own an Experience Music Kahn phono preamp. I auditioned several highly regarded phono preamps prior to committing my money and in my opinion it wasn't even close. If there is a better phono pre, I haven't heard it. One (of many) great things working with Jeffrey and Dave is that you can customize to fit your needs and tastes. I chose mercury rectifier tubes and have separate mono and stereo step ups. Also, the unit is beautiful.
