100SE support cone setback?
« on: 12 Jul 2011, 09:23 pm »
Modwright 100SE Question
If any owners of this Amp could measure how far the 2 front support cones are set back from the front panel I would appreciate it. I sent an E-mail to Dan but he might not be able to get back to as soon as one of you might.

I need this dimention as my rack attaches to my front wall and at 17 inches deep I'am not sure if the 2 front cones will land on my shelf or not.

Thanks Gary

Looks like the point of the cone is about 2 inches back from the front edge. Not sure that the published dimensions are quite accurate either - the case measures 17.75"W x 17.5"D (excluding binding posts). Mine overhangs the rack at the front, I use a couple of Herbies Audio Labs Tenderfeet (one each side) to support it instead.
