Fender Stratocaster and Princeton Chorus Amp
« on: 10 Jul 2011, 12:41 am »
I'm looking for someone local to buy my Fender Stratocaster and Fender Princeton Chorus amp. I'm open to any and all offers to save me from shipping or meeting in some Craig's list nightmare. You can make very respectable music for surprisingly little money with these babies. :thumb:

The strat's a 2004 Mexican standard, sea foam and in mint condition. The Princeton was bought used about 11 years ago and has a few scuffs but is perfect operationally. I'll get some pics up in the next day or two.

Drphoto,

I should mention that my strat looks nearly like the one in your picture sans the tremelo bar. The color is very close.

Nice guitar and amp.  I'm not sure if that's Foam Green, it looks more metallic green. Maybe it's the angle of the flash.

Please include pricing if you want to sell it.  I am not in the market but you may find someone on this site looking for a clean Strat.  Those Mex Strats are pretty nice and yours looks to be minty.   Same with the amp.  I like Princeton amps.   Lots of people used to want Fender Twin amps but they are too big and powerful for me and most indoor spaces.  Plus, you have to crank them to get that cool tube overdrive sound.  100 watts in the Twin is WAY too much for most people.  Princeton amps break up at a more reasonable level and sound great.  Versitile amp.

Good luck!

J

Ok, how about $300 for the Strat and $200 for the Princeton? $450 for the package. I have no desire to ship this gear, so St. Louis area pick up only please.
