question about foobar

does anyone know how to get foobar to link to the internet and find all my cd titles? I don't have time to manually type in the titles... thanks in advance.

er... it should be automatic, unless of course you don't allow it to connect through your firewall or you don't enable the CDDB searching... hmm will look for you tonight when I get home from work to be sure... I know it searches automatically for me!

Why not just use EAC to label them when ripping?  That's how I do it. . .

I don't like J River. . . That's just me. .  ;-)

Anyhow, just go to DATABASE>GET CD INFO>FROM FREEDB. . .

Also, I have found that it works best if you let EAC name the tracks, and then specify the track number in front of each.  That is under your EAC preferences.  That way, it will keep the tracks in order, as opposed to alphabetical. .

VP:

I'd throw the previous ones in the new Media Player and make sure your preferences are set to add missing info. . .

What if I want to still use foobar?  is there an option for that?

Probably, but I can't figure out how to make Foobar append.  Just do it in WMP once and make it append the info, and thhen you can still play them back in Foo.
