After reading this article this morning, I gave my two boys extra hugs and kisses and will pick them up early from camp so I get some extra time with them.

Thank you Buster Olney for writing such an outstanding article about baseball, fathers, and sons.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Stone family in Texas.

What a sad and tragic event.  I'm not far from that guy's age and my little guy is around the same age as his boy.  This kind of thing is really tough.  The article really choked me up. 

Here is the scene from the game.  It doesn't show anything gory but it's surreal seeing the scene at the game.  The announcers had no idea what was happening or how high the fall was.
