Web GUI>Settings>Interface>Title Format
This controls the title format in the web interface, not on players. The list of title formats, though, is the list that is available for use on older players like the Transporter, SB3, etc. I don't believe the title format on the Touch is configurable through either the web settings or through the Touch's settings.Edit: Which version of Squeezebox Server are you running?
Don't you include the track number in the file name? ....What are you using to check the tags in your files?
Edit: now I'm beginning to wonder if it needs ANOTHER rescan to fix the list problem...hmm, will try that later tonight when I get tired of ripping.
You're not by any chance using My Music > Music Folder to browse the library, are you? That's designed to display file names, not metadata. Any of the other browse modes should show metadata.
Since it was set up in the first place as "TITLE", not sure what was going on, but...in many years of working in the computer field, I learned that the machines are the ultimate arbiters of what works and what doesn't! Not users, not the documentation, and not customer support...and especially, not the guys that wrote the software!
