Home Theater BDP-1 review
« on: 5 Jul 2011, 10:50 pm »
I read in the Home Theater review of the BDP-1 that the BDA-1 has a volume control.  I do not see a volume control anywhere on the front panel.  How do I control the volume out of my BDA-1 like it says in the review?

Also in the article there was mention of a firmware upgrade, and when I go to the firmware page, there is no upgrade.  What do I do to get the firmware upgrade.

Thanks.

Hi

There is no firmware upgrade for the BDA as it has not changed - he was mistaken. You can lower the gain of the BDA by 3dB using a remote code but we do not recommend it because adjusting volume in the digital domain reduces resolution.

Thanks, James for clearing that up for me.
