So...I've been working on combining a Clarinet and Coronet into the same top panel.  Started so long ago I don't even remember when and before I was aware of this forum and Jim's previous Claricorn.  Here's how it looks right now...

I am using two transformers, each has it's own power switch fed by a master switch.  Currently I haven't figured out what I want to do with the balance control and the source switch is wired directly to the volume control.  The top panel is from Front Panel Express (no affiliation).  Here's the problem...I'm scared to death to turn it on!

I'd better turn one device first. Then - another.
To minimize all-in-one-flame risks I usually unsolder power supply connection to the main circuit first, power on (fuse is a must!!!), and check voltages on the output. They will be higher than needed - it's normal. Then - power off, connect the rest of the circuit, power on again and thest the full device.

I would start up each independently, which it seems you can do with your switching.  If there are any ground loop issues of hum, separate inputs, even if it means re soldering a few things to do so.  Good luck - looks like a nice build, and one way to minimize the interconnect issue!

Yeah, I always fire up new builds in pieces.  One small part at a time, whatever you can get away with.
