whatever you decide, get two.  it may be counter-intuitive, but even in a small room - especially in a small room, imo - having two subs will help smooth out response, and you will have added benefit of lower distortion at any wolume level...

Disagree with that Doug.  If you go with an OB sub, do one, because the idea is to minimize room interaction.  On the other hand, if you go boxed subs, then 2 (or more) is the way to go.

tyson, even an ob sub interacts w/the room.  having more than one will still smooth out the overall frequency response in the room.
