Treme is an HBO series that takes place in New Orleans three months after hurricane Katrina. The story follows New Orleans' unique blend of residents including musicians, chefs, Mardi Gras Indians, and ordinary people trying to rebuild their lives.
Underlying everything in the drama is the music, this show is the equivalent of a college course in New Orleans traditional and jazz music. Each episode has guest musicians in cameo performances and sometimes they play too. The sound track includes the best of New Orleans music.
