Over on AVS forum they are putting together a power buy for the yet to be released "P" series RPTV DLP sets from Samsung.  There is no word yet on pricing, that should be posted yet this week, or at least more details should.  There are about 60 people interested right now so I'm guessing the price should be pretty attractive.

Thanks for the pointer!!  How do these purchases normally work?  Have you been involved in one before?  I'd be very interested in 46"-50" and am wondering how much these guys normally save over the retail pricing.  How long is the cash hung up in the process?

I too am waiting for the Samsung HD2+ chip which is coming with the new DLP's.  I'm one of the 60 people on the list, and waiting for a Tantus 56" as well.

The last power buy a couple of years ago shaved off about $1500. off of the MSRP if i recall.  Shipped to your door.

Can't wait.... and I hope this buy comes together.  TVA out of Florida handled the last power buy.
