Boston is title town once again! I think its safe to say Boston is the best pro sports city in the USA.

Congrats!

I won't agree with you on Boston being the best pro sports town, but the B's definitely grew on this New Yorker over the course of the playoffs.

Sorry guys, I don't mean to be a jerk, I was just teasing, mostly. I sort of like hockey, I watch occasionally, and was glad to hear the Bruins won. That's the thing tho, you can't really watch it on network TV. I mean an increase to 13 games on NBC for 20011/12? Really? In the top four sports? Golf and soccer have way more coverage. God bless to all the hockey fans here, I hope you have many years of continued enjoyment watching your sport, but it's not a major league sport.

Edit: College lacrosse is a major sport as far as folks in the northeast are concerned, and it's growing at schools across the country. Like hockey without ice, and without the fights.

The reaction in Vancouver last night was deplorable, PERIOD.
Last time the NE Patriots won the Super Bowl, 5 people died--- same old, same old.
No city occupies the moral high ground.
The scary bit is, this kind of shocking behaviour can happen in any city.

Let the record show that since the riot in 1984 after the Tigers won the World Series, Detroit has seen two NBA championships, four Red Wings Stanley Cups (plus one loss in the finals), a World Series loss by the Tigers, and an 0-16 season by Lions. And no riots.

I was not into hockey in 84 but I have seen Detroit burning after a Cup win so I am pretty sure you are not correct. Oh and Happy Halloween! Does that count? Just kidding. I very much respect the Wing or-gan-eye zation.
