Selling my beatifully immaculate pair of 1977 Klipsch Cornwall Is in natural walnut with black grilles and risers.  These are in such good condition that they will not be shipped and you must arrange for pickup in Boulder, CO.

Everything in these are stock and original, both have serial number tags and are consecutively numbered.  The veneer is perfect with the exception of a few very tiny spots on the front edge that you pretty much have to get right up next to to see and are also barely detectable by feel.  The grilles are black textured grille cloth (original) with no runs, pulls or tears, and are as tight as a drum, plus have the original Klipsch badges.

Really about the only thing wrong with these is that the caps in the crossovers are 34 years old and need to be replaced for best sonics.  Bob Crites of critesspeakers.com sells a cap upgrade kit for these for $40 which includes parts for both speakers.  He can also rebuild them for you for slightly more, or sel you all new ones if you so desire.

The speakers also have the original #6 screw terminals as used on much vintage equipment, so you may want to install some binding posts at some point (though I do have a 7' pair of Q-Audio Tao speaker cables that have the requisite mini spades on both ends, and which also work fine in standard binding posts -- contact me for details on these, and they sound fantastic with these speakers.)

If you'd like to build a clean, retro-classic loking pair of cornwalls that are upgraded to cornscala performance level, I'll make you a nice deal on the speeakers, k75k tweeters and FasTrac Cornwall wood, tractrix horns I also have listed.

Price is $950 and no paypal fee -- pick up in Boulder, CO only.

101 dB and can be driven superbly well with a SET 45 or 2a3 amp.

Thanks for looking,

Jim
