Playback Weirdness

Here's something that needs fixing.

When I use the BDP front menu to navigate to a specific song and push play, it always plays the next song and I have to either push the back button to go back to the song I want or I push play on the song before the one I want and it jumps forward and starts on the song I want to hear.  This should obviously start playing the song that shows in the window.

This doesn't happen with Bryston Max or Minion, only through the front window navigation.

Possible bug...  I can't imagine it's only my player doing this...

Wayne.

That happens to the whole folder/subfolder of tracks as well.  Pressing play button would access and play the folder below the current one shown on the display.

Mine is the latest software updated around March 2011.

There is a newer version of the software - April 1 which I am using and it does not have that issue. Email me at jamestanner@bryston.com and I will send you a copy.

Thanks, James.  The software version I have is very close to April 1:  S0.98  2011-03-28.
I'll send you an e-mail soon, anyway.

Here's my software version,

Also curious about the upgrade process.  Will software updates automatically show up on the Bryston intranet page when I connect to my player??

What is the settings selection for on this page??  When I click on it, it asks for a username and password.

Wayne.

This only happens for me on the individual song and doesn't happen on the folder or subfolder.  The subfoler and folder play as expected on my player.

Whether I'm playing songs I've downloaded from HDTracks or I'm playing songs I've ripped with dBPoweramp, they all have the same unexpected result.
