Rick,

I am currently thinking of designing a pair of spkrs based on a TMWW configuration floor standing tower. I like to use a the above midrange as the M on these speakers. I prefer a high spl mid,  90dB and above that is the reason for choosing this mid. I like this mid to cover the freq range between 300-400 to 3-3.5Khz.

You have lots of experience with Scanspeak drivers would recommend this mid.,? I notice this mid is not being used by any designer or DIYer that I know of, is there anything wrong with it? You may have even testing it before. If you don't recommend this can you suggest an alternative.

I value your opinion any input is welcome. Thanks.

Should be ok but I'm not familiar with it.
