Zu cable is coming to the east coast for a demo on April 24!

I have been a huge fan of the products offered by Zu cable for over 3 years. I own most of their cables & have the Druid 2 loudspeakers (F,C,R) & their Retro sub. That being said...

I wanted to spread the word on the first visit to the East Coast by Sean & Adam from Zu Cable & Loudspeakers. They will be setting up a demo room, at a hotel in Easton PA, for all those who want to come & hear what their cables & speakers sound like. Easton was chosen as a central location with easy access for those from NY, NJ, Philadelphia, Maryland, etc.

Zu will be bringing a new loudspeaker that should prove to be worth the trip .

I hope to meet some of you there.

The bookshelves that went on tour were purchased. I read it in his review, but I cant remember his name at the moment.

The new speaker is a totally different design than the original Druids, & they are truely full range!

The new speaker will have just over a 12" square footprint, & have 7 speakers. 2 - 10" & 1 - 1" tweeter on the front & 4 powered 10" drivers on the back

104db sensitive.

Adam from Zucable offers demo. Over the next day or two at least 13 separate members express an interest in the demo, some of whom are in the same geographic area.

Shokunin or Mad Dog posts that he expects shipment from Zu

SEPTEMBER

Doug S. gets them from Shokunin. Apparently at this time Doug purchases them from Zu and that's the end of the story, I think.

So basically it took SEVEN MONTHS for maybe THREE guys to hear these things.

Did the signup sheet end with Doug S.? Byteme, Audiojerry and myself were supposed to be on there. What about jcoat, brad, lonelywolf, roox, kishore and zachslc?

It's not like I care anymore but damn - what a complete screwup! This demo took so long the company came out with a new model in the interim fer cryin' out loud!

Let me first apologize for not following up with everyone on the demo list for the monitor speakers. After the other monitors were purchased I thought I could get the new loudspeakers completed and out quickly but I just haven't been able to make the time.

We have been working on several new loudspeakers and I really wanted to get one of the new loudspeaker models, which are a significant step above the older Druid monitors, out to the remaining people on the demo list.

I have been focusing on getting the Definition completed and ready for the PA demo and LA demo coming up in May and just haven't had time to complete the new speakers to send out for the auditions.

Nathanm is the next on the list and I will make sure the new speakers will make it to him as quickly as possible.

Again I apologize for dropping the ball by not updating everyone on the list and I will make sure that everyone that signed up will get a chance to hear the loudspeakers.
