Vintage 2A3 tubes
« on: 1 Jun 2011, 12:11 am »
I have 3 pair of vintage 2A3 tubes. They all have some time on them the most being approx 30 to 40 hrs. I have a pair of GE, a pair of Sylvania, and a pair of RCA. I used each pair a little, swapping them back and forth in the amp that I had at the time. I got all 3 pair from Andy at vintage tube services . I sold the amp about 6 or 7 years ago and the tubes have been in my tube caddy ever since. The GE and RCA tubes are in original boxes but the boxes have seen better days. I am looking to sell them for $ 120.00 a pair.

If ebag's doesn't empty your wad and you have a way of testing how quiet they are, I'd be interested.   My use if for preamp, so quiet is imperative.

I used them in  Wright Sounds 3.5 mono's. I don't have any way to measure them for quietness. They were quiet in the Wrights.
