Dodd Buffer with Atma-sphere amps?

Hi folks,

I wanted to see if anyone here has paired their Atma-sphere amp with a Dodd buffer? Or heard the combo in someone else's system.

Look forward to those impressions.

IIRC, you have preferred the Dodd Buffer to some pretty pricey preamps. Was that on the basis of absolute performance improvements in your system or just bang-for-buck?
