We are finally starting to put together a new website and are considering a FAQ section.

Looking for suggestions for general questions to answer :thumb:

The link to the email for repairs is a direct link, and I get only a message:
"could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not installed"
Now i know that is MY problem. but if you had the email address so I could cut and paste in into my email, then it would work. As it is, IF i wanted to email you guys, i cannot.
Then in the front page tabs, you should have a link to this site Bryston circle.
Also. My 'pet' peeve is the requirement for proof of purchase from dealer each time. Why do you not have a registration on the Bryston site where the proof is given at the time of registration, with serial numbers and all, then you HAVE it and i would never have to provide it again.
And new owners who buy used items with warranty could also go to the item BY SERIAL NUMBER and by putting in the former owners name, or dealer of original purchase etc, can have the warranty transferred to them.
It could also serve as a theft prevention device, being registered..
And have the owners email adress kept by Bryston in the registration, so any important stuff could be emailed to the owners. And the new used owner would have the original owner sent an email or something to keep folks from 'hijacking account stuff?
Anyway some way to automate new ownership for used items, when the original owner registered.
Currently all your registration is seems to be a survey. it does nothing for the owner.
The registration should get email sent about stuff about the Bryston and this site, and stuff that folks might find interesting.

As the topic has gone on to general website suggestions beyond the FAQ, many would benefit from a matrix for amplifiers and preamplifiers that compares all of the pertinent specs in one view, with links to the complete product page within the table.

As it stands now, it is a clumsy operation to constantly go back and forth (and remember) or having to open a confusing number of windows to compare products.

It would also be nice to correct the storage capacitance specifications.  All amplifiers currently list 30,000uF, except for the 28B SST2 which doesn't list any.

Some things have been covered in newsletters but stuff like different amp technology pros and cons and why Bryston makes what they do.  Links in one spot to reviews of Bryston Equipment past and present models.  I agree with the comparison comment.

more pictures of measurements such as noise, jitter, distortion, etc. a good example would be the difference between a noise floor of a computer "all in one" system compared to the silence of the BDP-1 ?!?
sometimes graphics are easier to understand than technical explainations...however, they belong together.

A history of each product with changes and the date/serial number of each change. I can't count the number of times questions like this are asked on this forum.

Congrats, James. Questions that I'd like answered are faceplates, which series of amps can be upgraded by the factory, and about factory tours.

yes. a explicit explanation could help customers to understand what changes are made/not made at least from SST to SST². let them know that the power pacs/LP amps are not SST² yet...so keep 'em updated .

furthermore i'd like to suggest for more pictures of Bryston gear. more topless. the ability to zoom in order to get a closer look.

I'm thinking that one FAQ you deal with a lot is " Where's My Bryston? " Is there a possibility of setting up a means on the website for customers to check on the ETA of the units they have ordered ?

Oh and James, any word on my BIT 15?
