I just picked up a pair of KEF 104/2's [in rosewood, no less] in excellent condition off of Audiogon for $300! The guy said he was moving, couldn't take them with him and didn't want to ship them anywhere. I call it "right place at the right time!".

Merle - you should replace the bass inductors in these. They will sound MUCH better. I just happen to have a pair of Alpha-Core air-core inductors that I can let go. Email me.

Agreed!!! Paying due deligence to AudiogoN is a wonderful thing! Last year I bought a perfect pair of 1 yr old Reference 3A MM DeCapos for $1000! What a deal!.
