Up for sale is my Modwright 9.0 SE with full Signature Upgrades,
The pre is an early unit with only the SWL9.0 designation on the frontplate. It has the 'revised' solid state power supply and the full modwright cap upgrade performed. In January of last year, it was upgraded to the full Signature edition status (tube PS and new remote). At that time I also asked him to punch a hole in the cover at the recitifier position to allow the use of taller tubes. I also purchased a fresh set of 5687 tubes from him at that time as well.
The unit was just sent to Modwright and comes to you direct factory fresh with a clean bill of health. I sent it in because of a hum, but it turns out to be nothing more than a ground loop hum.
The unit looks great (except for the hole cut out for the rectifier tubes) and comes with Tung Sol Tubes and I will send a few of my favorite rectifier tubes. It comes with the new upgraded remote, though it does have a bit of wear and tear on the remote. Though since it is coming from Dan, we could have him throw in a new remote for a few extra $$$ ( you pay for the new remote).
I also have a few optional tube choices which we could negotiate to include.
I am moving up the Modwright line vs a Battery pre........(first the battery pre and then the Modwright).
