Hello!I am new on this great forum...I have looked at the SW-12-16-FR driver and the posted open baffle W-cabinet design and find it really intriguing.But I have a couple of questions about it.Would it be possible to stand two of these cabs next to each other or laid down and on top of each other?And also has the GR featured Rythmik 370PEQ plate-amp some sort of eq built in to it,or can any good quality sub-amp be used?

You can stack them or lay them down in a row across the floor. No problem.

It is a servo controlled system though. You can't just use any amp. You have to use the servo amps with the servo woofers.

If I would wish to use four 16ohm drivers in paralell that would be a 4ohm nominell load.That amp specs 600 watts/4ohm,so that would be about 150 watts availible for each driver.Maybe overkill,but there is no such thing as to much headroom,he he

Nope. The DCR on those woofers is about 13.5 ohms. They were designed to run as many as three of them together (not not) on one amp. And the A370PEQ amp is enough power to drive them right to their X-Max with some input, so there is no need to go to any bigger amp.

You can get right up on the side walls, but you need to be at least 3 feet from the rear wall and more is better.

A little off subject but....  What would be better, A "W" cabinet (as being discussed here) per side underneath a N3S or the bass portion of the Super V per side underneath a N3S.  What would the differences be if any.

I have done both and the only real difference is the size of the panels between support pieces. So it is easier to control the resonances of the wall of the H frame since the woofers mount on a panel that goes right through the middle of it. With the W frame the area in the middle on one side is fairly large and if there weer a brace in there then it would be hard to install the woofers around it.

And in both cases, thick side walls really help.
