Ben Folds coming to SF

I've heard of him (from the Ben Folds Five days) but I've never heard his music. What kind of stuff does he play? What genre I mean.

His solo stuff sounds pretty much like his work with Bens Fold Five.

I have seen him a few times and would recommend seeing him (as long as it isn't in some big stadium - he sounded terrible when he opened up for Dave Matthews Band at Giants Stadium).

He's playing at the Pavilion, and I'm hoping it's gonna be in the Great Hall. We spent $35 million dollars renovating it, and it's now a stunning hall from an acoustics perspective. John Atkinson of Stereophile was impressed enough by the place that he recorded Cantus' newest disc there.

Tickets are only $25, too, so I might have to check him out.
