E4T,
A word of caution - while I don't agree with Bas' comment about Cleasaudio MMs, I think it would be wise to remember his comments about the rest. I can't offer an opinion concerning their current MCs and electronics, but their original MC (Veritas I think) was extremely bright. I also would take reviews with a grain of salt. You're reading one persons opinion, using different equipment and listening with ears, other than yours. As experienced as that opinion may be, YMMV.

It's easy to get caught up, and have the equipment become more important than the music. There's nothing wrong with that if that's what you're into. You might want to stop yourself from time to time along the way, and think about things.

Of course, yes.  Good advice.  Thanks Neo.

The review thing is true for many areas in my life....I would never jump off a cliff if one review told me to, and lord knows there are a lot of reviewers out there that I take issue with, but when I read well over 50 and 100% of those have some positive things to say, there must be something to it whether it is for everyone or not.

Having said that, I did make the decision to go with the Maestro because a lot of people, and well....reviews, commented on the warmth and balance.  Warmth, specifically, is important to me and I would be bummed if it were too bright. I could find next to no reviews on the Concept MC, and it's not that I wanted to purchase one based on a reviewers opinion, I just wanted to hear at least one or two opinions on it.  Although I went with the Maestro I am still curious about it.  Unfortunately, I do not have the option of auditioning any of this stuff.

In the end, again I agree.  I need to hear this stuff for myself, with my own ears.  I just needed place to jump into.
...

The table arrived yesterday by the way.  Sadly, I will not get it until around June 9th as I am sitting in the middle of Africa....something to look forward to.

Thanks,
Eric

Let us know your thoughts on the whole setup once you get 'er up and running.  I've been very curious about the table since its release.
