wanted to know, if anyone, own or has heard a  MFSL (mobile fidelity sound lab) remaster "CD"  or the Gold "Audio Fidelity"  remaster CD

good quality?   big improvement over standard CD?   Not worth it?

currently using my BDA-1 w/ my CD player, and wanted to know  if these CD's  are  nice upgrades over the originial  stuff.

here  are, a  few samples,  of  the  styles of  remaster  CD's

looking to add  BDP-1,   have  a  few house projects, then  the Wife  will give me  the ok.

have any feedback guys...

Cheers,
Dan

I have 3 of the MFSL CDs: Muddy Waters - "Folk Singer"; Counting Crows - "August and Everything After"; and Eric Clapton - "Slowhand".  All are excellent recordings but I do not have other versions of those recordings so I cannot attest to any possible difference.  However, I do think that the BDP-1 will be a big upgrade for you.
