I think, and that's a big think, it's an MM.  I had one but it didn't look like that.  I think Signet was an AT flagship.  Because it didn't look like that, makes me wonder if I might be wrong.  Why do you ask?  What up?

Trial and error should tell you pretty quick.  That is, if you don't find out here first or elsewhere.  Good listening.

Looks to me like a TK10 - a legendary TOTL signet.... Styli are still available (they are not cheap, TOTL styli never are!)

Regards tracking force, don't think you could go wrong with 1.50 grams.

Yes Indeed.
Looks just like the TK-10MLII I had back in the mid '80s. Unfortunately, I don't think replacement styli are available. The stylus was fixed on a little flat plate on the underside of the cart. I've seen lesser styli on these little plates for sale, but not the 10ML.

You certainly come up with some winners Lapsan. Good luck with the TK-10.

The Signet TK10 used the same stylus mounting (and possibly the same styli) as the Audio Technica AT22/23/24/25 series.

Much as the Ea/Ep series of Signets used the same mounting as the AT120/122 family and the E series used the same mounting as the AT13/14/15/20....

In any case here is a link to an available stylus

Searching for ATN22/23/24/25 will provide other options out there I am sure

bye for now

That's ridiculous. For just a little more you could send it to Soundsmith and get a ruby/micro. For a little less you could get a ruby/LC.

Here's a much better deal on a better stylus.

The ATN23A looks like a bargain in comparison.

Definitely something along the lineage of a TK9ea/TK9lca/TK10ml. Flip the cart on its underside -- what color is the stylus mount?

The TK9ea (elliptical) stylus mount is red - I happen to have a TK9ea and it is a damn fine cartridge. Not sure of the colors of the other stylus mounts, but the TK9lca sports a line contact and the TK10ml is a microline.

All those styli use beryllium cantilevers.

The TK-10MLII had a silver colored stylus holder.

It is a very good tracker. Very fast and detailed.

This cart is theoretically at least one notch up on AT's current Top of the Line MM (the AT150)

Definitely a keeper! - Unless the sound doesn't suit you - then I am certain you would very very easily find a new home for it (and make a bit in the process) - this one is up there with the V15VMR in the legendary category.

bye for now
