Loudspeaker beauty contest..

I realize that aesthetics have nothing to do with this hobby and that "it's all about the music" but I'll ask this question anyhow.  What in your opinion is THE most attractive speaker ever made?  I've always had a soft spot for the ML electrostatics particularly the old CLS...I even like the new CLX.  And I've always like the look, not necessarily the sound, of the Klipschorns.  Let's hear what you guys think.

A thread on speaker looks alone? Sacrilege!!!!!!!!   :green:

This is a toughie. The Nautilus has gotta be on my list. There's something about a loudspeaker that looks like it will suck up your leg if you have a bad hit of acid.

I find the industrial design of this monitor quite interesting. It appears to morph as you move around it.

Hey Jack. Thanks for taking time to respond.  Looks like our audio brethren are hootless (as in 'don't give a hoot') about my contest.  I agree with you about those monitors.  French aren't they?

..oh and regarding audio reviews based on looks alone, visit the McIntosh 'audio aficionado' forum sometime...you've heard of Purple Haze, well these guys are big into Blue Meter Haze....priceless.

I've never owned a "beautiful" speaker, the VR-2s in African hazelwood are about as purty as it has gotten for me.

I dunno, Martin Logans are kinda cool without being ostentatious.

The Martens are very cool and uber expensive.  Arthurs, you should post a picture of your line arrays here...they certainly belong in this thread.

I realize that aesthetics have nothing to do with this hobby and that "it's all about the music".....

Sometimes it has a lot to do with this hobby.  Spouse Acceptance Factor of an aesthetically pleasing speaker sometimes can make the difference between having really good speakers with proper placement versus in-wall speakers or tiny lifestyle orbs, particularly in the living room.
