Audiophile Fuses for 36.5 PS

Has anyone tried aftermarket fuses such as the Hifi Tuning Supremes in the 36.5 powersupply, and if so did it improve sound quality?

I had a great result with a Furutech fuse in the psu of my MW tube Oppo where it gave a lot more definition and a larger soundstage and figure you should experience similar results in your 36.5.  Is an excellent value upgrade!

I'm gonna have to try one of these audiophile fuses.  I recently upgraded my power receptacle and was blown away by the results.

I used a Furutech fuse in my SWL9.0 signature and now in my LS100 and really like what it did.  I agree, a very inexpensive tweek and well worth the money and effort.

The fuse is a 3 amp, small (5X20mm) slo-blo.  This is the one I used:

I've had good results with Synergy Hifi fuses in my 36.5.  I've also tried Furutech and HiFi Tuning.  The Furutech are good, but expensive.  The HiFi Tuning (standard version) made my treble sharp and narrowed the sound stage.  They sounded so bad to me, I took them out of all my gear.  The Synergy HiFi are very good and sound a lot like their tubes, which I'm also using  They use the same nano tech as the tubes and are only $20.

I have actually just switched all my fuses to Acme Audio Labs.  I couldn't hear a difference between these and the Furutechs.  The Acme fuses are just $12.00 each!  :thumb:

I'm stumped -- how/where can I buy the Acme fuses? I haven't been able to find an online vendor.

I just put the Synergy fuses in last week along with a couple of Synergy 5AR4s and so far it sounds really good.  I have not listened extensively and the tubes are not even broken in yet but it sounds good and $20 is a good price level.  I may eventually just replace a few more of the fuses in other things like the DAC down the road.

I bought my Acme fuses straight from Acme Audio Labs.  Most of the online vendors I found did not stock the fuses.
