Here are two more time lapses I did this week.
I had some job training. Not much, just a drive to Chicago on Tuesday, and back to St. Louis on Wednesday.
The first video is from the fourth floor of my hotel room in Chicago (Naperville), the second was taken from the dashboard of the car during the (almost) entire ride back to St. Louis.
- Nikon D200 18-55 Nikon DX lens
- 649 pictures
- Shutter snaps every 10 seconds, replay at 12 frames per second
- Video is HD

http://www.vimeo.com/22924565This was fun. I set the Nikon on the dash of the car and set it to shoot a photo every ten seconds for the entire trip back home. I had to do one battery change about halfway through the trip. Here are the specs:
- Nikon D200 18-55 kit lens
- 1,642 total pictures
- Shutter opens every ten seconds, and replayed at 10 fps
- 310 miles driven
- Video is not HD
- One stop at Arby's for a roast beef sammy. Aww yea.
- The video ends in my garage.
Unfortunatly, I somehow managed to delete the first 125 pictures of the trip. How I did that, escapes me.

The other thing I screwed up, when I changed the battery I (apparently) bumped the focus.

yea....the last ~700 pictures are out of focus.
At the beginning and end of the trip it was raining. So that thing swinging in front of the camera was the wipers.
