Magnified Views of Vinyl Record Grooves

I was seeking a better understanding of what my cartridge stylus is actually doing and stumbled across this last night:

You junkies have probably seen this, but I find the concept both intesting and extremely primitive.  But the sound...

Thanks for the link. The cheap red-green 3-D glasses I got from Blockbuster to watch Coraline worked great to see the 3-D record groove.

Now that is cool! If I'm seeing correctly the middle groove looks like it's a trumpet playing B flat with a slight vibrato.  :scratch:

LOL..........Maybe on your table it sounds like a trumpet. On mine it sounds like a full step bend on 4th E played through stacked marshalls ( the mic is picking up the cabinet resonace)  :thumb:
